As most of our clients here at Your Tax Shop know, we have been using and providing IRIS Openspace for a while. IRIS OpenSpace is a FREE, safe, simple and secure online platform for us and our clients to share documents with each other. It allows us to request e-approval for important documents such as your Self-Assessment tax return and Limited Company Accounts. This eliminates the trouble of you having to sign and return your documents as it has all been approved by the click of a button!

Email is insecure.

IRIS OpenSpace has a high level of security meaning only you and your accountant can view the documents shared. You can upload, store and even approve documents online. This is a safer way to send your confidential documents so there’s no need to worry about protecting your data; OpenSpace offers the same levels of security you expect from online banking. With the new General Data Protection Regulations coming into play on the 25th May 2018, there’s no better time to get registered for our secure portal! We will be sending the majority of your documents via Openspace as email cannot be trusted when sensitive information is concerned.

So how do you get set up?

  1. First you will receive an E-mail from us asking you to activate your IRIS OpenSpace account.
  2. You then click on the link to set up your own secure password.
  3. You’ll receive an E-mail once the account is activated, and you can now access your IRIS OpenSpace account!

You can upload anything to IRIS OpenSpace from Bank Statements to Spreadsheets to receipts, there’s no limit!
